What you’ll learn
Core firearms safety rules and safe storage best practices. Basic handgun parts, types, and function (USCCA material). Shooting fundamentals: grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through. Basic malfunction recognition and immediate actions. How to transfer classroom skills safely to the live-fire environment. Simple drills to build consistency and confidence
Format Blended: instructor-led classroom instruction followed by a supervised live-fire practical on the range. Classroom lessons directly support the live-fire exercises so each skill is practiced immediately.

Safety & requirements: All live-fire work will be supervised. Range safety rules are mandatory. Firearms must be brought to class unloaded and secured in a case; they will remain unloaded until instructed on the range. Students must follow the instructor’s directions at all times.
